Mount Coolum Winter

Description

Mount Coolum on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, Australia is situated no more that 500 metres from the ocean beach. Some say it’s like a baby Uluru (Ayers Rock). However, Mt Coolum is a volcanic plug.

I hurried out to take this photo, taken in winter time of 2012, because of the unusual colour in the late afternoon sky.
