I had no hesitation matching up this photo of what I call an “old man mangrove” with Bob’s testimony. I stumbled across this mangrove tree when I was out exploring Pumicestone Passage for photo opportunities. The tree, to me, visually displayed the trials and tribulation it had faced while growing in the tidal zone.
It had persevered with living in its environment, just as the writer Paul in the book of Philippians talks about how we should live by our faith in God to provide all our needs.
